Private Photography Workshops In the San Juan Mountains: An Experience To Remember!

ONE ON ONE Workshops (up to three may participate)

I offer one-on-one private photography workshops in the San Juan Mountains. Because of the diverse opportunities to photograph nature here, this is an ideal place enhance your landscape and wildlife photography skills and portfolio.

Due to the private nature of this, we will be able to concentrate on exactly what you want to work on and capture. From complete beginners to experienced, advanced photographers, I will tailor your workshop specifically to what works best for you.

Joining each workshop is my partner & husband Jon. He is a videographer and has worked as a professional driver in the mountains. While I help you create, he will help us get around safely! He is also pro-level when it comes to spotting wildlife.

On my workshops, we meet up at a specific location and then all carpool together with Jon behind the wheel. This means we’ve got room for up to three people in the car, which is where I cap my workshops. There is a back row that is left empty for gear, snacks and whatever else!

WHY CHOOSE A PRIVATE PHOTO WORKSHOP?

  • As a very small group, we can move quickly and decisively in the field, adjusting to the changing conditions and opportunities

  • I can concentrate specifically on one person's needs and provide more focused instruction and attention

  • There is no pressure from differing expectations and desires of what/when to photograph - it's up to you alone

Workshop Offerings

Deirdre Denali Photography

Private tours are led exclusively by me and Jon.  I'm a professional photographer, specializing in photographing the amazing San Juan Mountains and the wildlife that calls em’ home. Every day I go out, I strive to make gorgeous images, enjoy myself, appreciate the beauty that surrounds me, and behave respectfully in the field.  When on a tour with a client, my hope is that the client has a great time, learns something about their photography, makes some great images, and acquires some new skills that can be practiced and honed.
