Life with Mountain Goats
A project for the years of 2020-2022 was an immersive alpine experience, tracking mountain goats to document and observe their family structures, communication and seasonal changes. I will be following specific individuals in order to better understand who these goats might be. I will not be going to popular goat viewing spots to do this work, as I do not wish to work with habituated wildlife. Instead, I will be in the deep wilderness of some of the most rugged mountains in the lower 48, backpacking and setting up basecamps in extremely remote regions to experience life with mountain goats.
